After being a part of church choirs as a young person, Simpson signed with Columbia Records in 1997, at the age of seventeen. Sweet Kisses, her first studio album, came out in 1999. It sold two million copies across the United States. She also enjoyed commercial success with her hit single "I Wanna Love You Forever". She also sang a cover of "These Boots are Made for Walking" for the soundtrack of the film. She released her fifth studio album A Public Affair in 2006 and was also featured in the romantic comedy movie The Employee of the Month. Simpson made her debut in country music when she released Do You Know (2008), her sixth studio album. Simpson also introduced The Jessica Simpson Collection, the brand's fashion-oriented line, which includes 34 product categories. To date, the company has earned more than $1 billion in sales and is the highest-performing celebrity licensing brand in history. She also appeared in The Price of Beauty, an reality show on TV in the year 2010. Simpson also judged the clothing designs on Fashion Star 2 and 3. Simpson is married to Eric Johnson, with whom she has three children.
