Melissa Fumero

Melissa Gallo was born in Lyndhurst in New Jersey on the 19th of August, 1982. Her birthplace was in Lyndhurst in New Jersey. Her mother who was a housewife as well as a hairdresser, was her modeling role. Her father was employed in a jewellery store, and was a math teacher. Gallo was raised in Guttenberg however she moved to Lyndhurst at the age of six years old. She and her family were fluent in Spanish together at home, but after her brother was having issues at school, her parents stopped requiring her to speak Spanish. When she was a kid, Gallo enjoyed creating and acting in plays and then learning dance. Following her first experience of The Secret Garden on Broadway when she was ten years old and then she began her journey into acting. After watching The Secret Garden on Broadway, her parents sent the actress to an acting class. The students and her enjoyed the class as the focus was on performance instead of the appearance. She continued to pursue dance as well as acting lessons till she graduated. [8] When she received an acceptance letter from New York University (NYU) that she described as her "dream school",[9she thought she wouldn't be able to go due to the expense. The parents of her took out numerous loans and used savings to make sure she would be able to attend. The family also let Gallo reside at their house[10until the time she went away. Gallo was a graduate of the University of California in Berkeley in 2003. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in the field of drama.
