Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's first family, applied her brilliant literary skills and impressive researching skills to produce the psycho-historical biographies about Joseph Smith. The book, No Man is a Master of My History was published in 1945. The title was in response to a funeral address that was delivered by the Church of Latter-Day Saints founder Joseph Smith. In that sermon he stated: "You do not know what I'm about and you've never seen my heart." My past is not known to anyone. It is not possible for me to share it with you. Fawn (29 an age) stated that in the time she has been honest since the moment she made her statement Three hundred writers have responded to the event. Some have deified and abused his character, whereas others have attempted to diagnose the issue. It isn't the case that there's not enough documentation but they're rather divergent. The process of collating the documents, of separating firsthand accounts from third-hand plagiarism of fitting Mormon and non-Mormon narratives into a mosaic that makes an authentic historical claims. It is both exciting and instructive. Fawn Brodie's career was committed to this cause. The results of her study as well as her writing earned her world-wide fame: Thaddeus Stevens. The DevilDrives. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate Historical History (1974).
